Not quite. A dietitian holds a specific, government-regulated qualification and can provide medical nutrition therapy, while a nutritionist focuses on general food and lifestyle guidance. FHT nutritionists work within general wellness, not clinical treatment.
No referral is required. You can book a consultation directly, though if you have an existing medical condition, tell us upfront so the plan fits safely alongside any treatment you're already on.
A first consultation usually runs 45 to 60 minutes, giving enough time to go through your health history, goals, and current eating habits. Follow-up sessions are shorter, usually 20 to 30 minutes.
Most clients return every 2 to 4 weeks at the start, then move to monthly check-ins once their plan is settled. This can be adjusted based on your goals and progress.
Tell us about any allergy or sensitivity before your first session. Every plan is built around what's safe and workable for you, not a generic template.
